加拿大民族传媒举办圣诞酒会暨年度颁奖典礼

加拿大民族传媒协会(National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada，NEPMCC)，于12月15日(星期五，加东时间) 晚在多伦多的匈牙利加拿大文化中心(141Sunrise Avenue Toronto On.M4A1A9)举办2023年圣诞酒会暨年度颁奖典礼。

加拿大民族传媒协会宗旨是：”寻求和公布真相，捍卫言论自由和依法平等待遇的权利，珍重人类经验的多样性，为无声者说话，参与公民辩论，以建设我们的良好社会环境，并为公共利益服务。” 协会包括了加拿大803家非英语媒体，有100多种语言媒体汇集。

圣诞酒会暨年度颁奖典礼在现场乐队伴奏、现场高唱加拿大国歌中开始。

协会主席Thomas Sara简要致词，表达感谢和圣诞新年祝福。

加拿大联邦、省、市三级政要出席本次活动，他们是国会议员Paul Chiang；省议员Aris Babikian, Tom Rakocevik, Minister Lecce, Sheref Sabawy, Effie Triantafilopoulos, Adil Sharnji, Jill Andrew 和Kristyn Wong; 市议员Brad Bradford, Pathy Kandave 和Michael Thompson；还有 Jenniver Mckelvie 作为市长代理出席活动。VIP嘉宾席还有George Dimitropoulos和前任政治家Jim Karygiannis。

中华人民共和国驻多伦多领事馆程洪波副总领事和郭健副领事出席本次活动。

本年度共28家媒体的代表或有特别贡献的人士获得本年度团体奖或个人奖。
